If you're in the market for a solid, economical electric mower, the Black & Decker 18-inch electric mower is worth a look. Powered by a high efficiency, 6.5 amp, Black & Decker engine, this engine provides quiet, smooth operation, without the chaos and the cost of gas and oil models. There is no need for adjustments and begins to pull, either. This mower weighs only 36 pounds, making it easy to push and maneuver in the lawn. It has a blade 18 inches, Black side discharge (optional & Decker Side Bag Assembly # BA-075 sold separately), a rust-proof, polymer deck, and a touch height adjustment (from 1 to 3-1 / 2 inches). Tool free assembly means you will quickly and cut, and a lifetime warranty and the bridge of a two year warranty on the mower if it provides added peace of mind. --Carl Thress  [...]

I bought this mower 5 years ago and lasted only 3 years. The engine is not well designed and its quality is low. One of the thin thread died, and not worth repairing. The purchase of a new engine and cost more than buying a new mower. As always, the spare parts are ridiculously expensive. If you decide to buy this engine, and plans to use for more than a couple of years, I suggest you buy 2 of them. One to use, one for replacements.

If your lawn is about 5000sq feet, and cut about twice a month, 4 months a year, this engine should be fine. But if you cut weekly and have thick, well-kept lawn, I suggest you pay more for MM875. And 'most powerful and includes a bag, which costs an additional $ 30 - $ 40 for LM175 model.

Who used multiple times. Very light, so it's easy to push. Nice not having to deal with the gas and pull start. E 'quieter than a gas mower, but it's still a little' noise. Cut grass well. I bought the bag for him. The bag works well, but it could be a bit 'bigger. It gets the job done. The cable is not that a big nuisance. But I have a small lot, 120x75. A large site may have more of a challenge. But I like it.

Wow I was skeptical that an electric mower for $ 100 would be able to deal with my lawn. The guy was wrong! What great little mower! I'm saving so much money for the use of a gas lawnmower ... Furthermore, it is quieter, cleaner and more powerful as a cutter of the gas in the same price range (read: cheap). Cut grass, weeds, without much fanfare ... You may need to go to places to get the grass lost ... but not great! I had my two summers and still great work!

I bought this mower in the fall after my grass stops growing so that in reality has not been tested thoroughly. I do not run as soon as I got and it seemed to work well. Today I tried to use it as a void left with marginal success. Does a good job of collecting the leaves, but the limiting factor is the capacity of the bag, which can be good for the grass, but not for a beautiful garden. I had to empty the bag, maybe a dozen times to make my yard. A rake would be easier if the yard is small and / or leaves are few. The mower is made for your order, however. I'm happy with it.

It 'a nice idea, of power. I have this side and the bag to suck extra trimmings. Problem is the side bag tore down all the time. Furthermore, this thing has no power. I have to get up, let it get the speed, and drop it on the grass, when his thickness. Even so, sometimes it stops. Sharpen the blades of help, but needs about twice the power. You can work in thought fescue or somethign, but stops Burmuda cold.
