Haussmann CLM46NU Reviews (All-Reviews)
Same as others - lots of bent parts - I suspect the UPS drivers - mower is heavy they send one man, he drops it where ever he can. mower works well out of the box. wont know how I like it till spring time when you need a mower. I'll update after using the mower to cut

We had no problem putting this mower together. All you have to do is assemble the handle. The mower is really easy to use and cuts better than our previous gas mower. We have a smaller lawn but I can see this mower working just fine for a larger lawn.
When cutting taller thick grass start at the higher height and then go back over the lawn at the height of your choice.
The mower is easy to store and clean. Make sure to read all the instructions for usage to know how to properly charge the mower.

Technically this is a good lawnmower. I can mow my entire front and back yards with no problems. The bag is very small though. The biggest problem is the weight of the mower. It is so heavy it digs rutts in my grass and I can barely push it if the bag is full.

i have been wanting to buy a cordless push-mower for a few years. even i have a tractor, a push-mower is always handy for those tight and hard-to-reach spots in my yard. i noticed the haussmann a few months ago at amazon, but it had a bad review. so i waited for more reviews. since then, more reviews showed up and they were positive. so i decided to take a chance as the price was simply unbeatable.
the mower was delivered by fedex after a week or so. the box was a little beat up, but the content was all right. first, it is heavy and it's bigger than say the b&d ones. unlike the b&d mowers, the deck is metal. that's good, but it makes it heavier. the mower seemed solidly built. the assembly was a NO-brainer. perhaps they have modified the switch in my model as there is NO assembly needed for the on/off switch as described by the earliest review. basically, here are the steps:
(1) slide the U-bar (one withOUT the switch) into the INNER side of the corresponding connectors of the mower and tighten 4 nuts.
(2) slide the U-bar (one WITH the switch) onto the OUTER side of the previous U-bar and tighter 2 screws.
and you are DONE. charge the battery for at least 16 hours, insert key and there she goes. since there was nothing to mow in december, i just pushed it around for 10 minutes and it worked. the bag went on and off quickly. overall, i like the mower. here are some potential issues:
(1) it's heavy. so it's kind of hard to push it around especially if you have some slopes.
(2) the handle bar is long. so it's good for people over 6-feet. if you are shorter, you may find the non-adjustable handle bar a bit long.
(3) battery is not easily removable. so it may not be easily replaced once dead.
(4) since it's a no-name brand, parts may be hard to source. so once anything is broken, that may be IT.
