I don't know what the deal is but the wheels seem like they are about to fall off of this thing. everything else is nice but the wheels are sloppy as heck. I hate the stupid safety bar on the handle. First thing I did was disconnect it and run a lever to control on and off. Otherwise, it cuts grass. It's not "heavy Duty"... It's more like a regular mower with big wheels that wobble all over the place...

GREAT UNIT , TOOK 5 MINUTES FROM THE BOX TO CUTTING THE GRASS. THREE PUMPS ON THE PRIMER AND STARTED ON THE FIRST PULL . HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS UNIT

The mower has nothing beside a spinning blade--no self-drive, no throttle control, no choke, no bagging options, and best of all no high price tag. The handle has a safety shut-off lever which is the only way to kill the mower; it's easy to hold back and does not give any hand fatigue. To start, pump the priming bulb three times and pull the cord. My unit starts within the second or third pull when cold, on the first pull when hot. Engine has enough power to mow through higher grass that's a little damp--you can tell the engine is a smaller powerplant, though, when going through high grass. On the other hand, without any self-drive all the power is used for mowing. Mulching ability is acceptably good but not stellar. The factory-set throttle is not user-adjustable. My unit's run speed cycles up and down quite a lot, giving the mower a slow sort of pulsing/thrumming sound as you mow. I've worried about that but it doesn't seem to have any effect on the unit or operation. The blade height is very adjustable on front and rear wheels; the adjustments have a lot of range. The gas tank is bigger than most new mowers (a big plus in my book). Construction overall is exactly what you'd expect. The unit is light enough that mowing my 1/3-acre yard with it is actually less fatiguing than using a larger/heavier unit with self-drive. I'm glad I picked this one up and saved a few hundred bucks.

The mower arrived in excellent condition, was easy to assemble and started on the first pull. After using it for a couple of weeks, it still starts on the first pull every time. I'm very happy with it.
