I bought this bagger with a bit of trepidation because really I wanted something a bit bigger. The bagger on my old mower had three bins and held a bit more. However, I have found this bagger to be quite good. It attaches [and detaches] from the mower quite easily. The capacity is good and the fact that it is "soft-sided" is a nice innovation. Being "soft-sided" has the advantages that: 1. it allows airflow through so that more leaves/grass can be collected, and 2. it is convenient when dumping. Poulan has also found a reasonable solution to the problem of how to determine when the bags are full. There is a little wheel on the chute which starts to spin when the bags get full. This works well. [On my old mower the "full" detection device did not work. By the time it showed "full" the chute was filled with leaves/grass and a manual clean out was necessary.]
The only reason I gave this a 4 star rating rather than a 5 star rating is the fact that it is 2 bags rather than 3 across the back. But overall I have found it to be quite satisfactory.

I bought this a few weeks ago to put on my 42" Poulan Pro riding mower. I have about 13 trees on my property, and the leaves started falling early this year. Normally, I use my Stihl hand-held leaf vac to group the leaves and vacuum them up. The Stihl works well, but I quickly get frustrated at how frequently the bag fills up and must be emptied.
I was a little worried about how well the bagger attachment might work on leaves, but my concerns were very quickly alleviated. I have used the bagger on four occasions thus far, and this thing works amazingly well. It has turned my riding mower into a lawn vacuum. It picks up leaves, grass clippings, and even sycamore bark.
The dual-bin bagger holds an impressive amount, and I can cover my 1/3 acre lot and only have to empty the bins three times, which is an incredible improvement over my other leaf vacuum. The bins are incredibly easy to remove and empty, and the bottom of each bin has an integrated hand strap that allows you to shake the bin very easily.
I bought the unit with the soft-sided bins, which stretch to hold a bit more than the solid-side bins. The unit required no assembly. The bagger simply rested on bolts on the back of my mower, and the tubes that connect it to the mowing deck are held in place by a series of rubber straps with metal hooks on the end.
The door on my storage shed is only 48" wide, so I have to remove the tubes from the bagger each time I'm finished - to fit the mower in the shed. However, the process only takes about 30 seconds. I couldn't be happier.
Clean-up is amazingly simple, too. Just hose the thing off, and it looks as good as the day I unpacked it. The soft-side bins allow water to pass right through them, so you can easily wash out any minute leaf dust that's trapped in them after they have been emptied.
My only criticism of the unit is the "full bag" indicator on the vacuum tube. It's simply a little red wheel that rotates when the bag is filling. The wheel is supposed to stop rotating when the bag is full.
The problem is that by the time the wheel stops rotating, not only are the bags full, but the discharge has backed all the way up through the tubes to the mowing deck, which means that (after you have emptied the bins) you also have to disconnect the tubes and clean them out as well. If you don't, even though the bins have been emptied, the tubes are clogged and no discharge can make its way to the bins.
This is a minor criticism. I've learned to periodically glance behind me at my mowing line. If anything is left behind me, I know that the bins are full. I highly recommend this product. If you have a lot of trees (like me), this thing will save you hours of time in the Fall...
