Cirksena ( Iowa ) We saw a neighbor using a battery-powered electric lawn mower last fall and decided he wanted one of these for Christmas --- Yes, we know, practical gifts instead of gaudy trinkets and more garbage. In any case, we are faced with this mower and searches here and on our Worx site. They had a special discount, which is committed to recycle gas lawn mower, you get a discount. That sounded good to us, who took the offer. This has made our purchase something like $449.
When the mower arrived in a big box, we put together and had some fun and begin a little mowing. I was a bit cold here to make the mowing and more snow fell within a couple of days of receiving it, but it worked very good out of the box. We took the battery and store it underground during the winter, but we are really looking to get it out and make a small mowing. We had a little problem to get the rebate, but to call the head office and speak with a customer service representative, we have solved almost immediately. They were very cooperative to ensure that customers are satisfied. Thanks Worx.

Michael Sanmiguel Very easy to use. Works very well. In reality, its light, so it is easy to move. Cut just like a gas powered lawn mower. I like the easy height adjustment for the blade. Must buy!!

L. Brown ( Keaau, Hawaii ) I have 1/2 acre, which is about 3/5 mowable stuff. Certainly not a lawn, but looks very good, kept mowed. Note that in Hawaii, on the windward side, where an average of over 120 inches of rain per a year, so it is almost a rainforest and you can actually see things always green growing. This mower makes a very admirable job, even after several weeks of growth, which is still a bit wet. The battery lasts long enough to get the whole yard mowed into two times when dry and three wet were reduced by more than three weeks. It is much lighter and easier to use than my old Honda and Weedeater gas mower, which came into recylceland. I really like to find a second battery for those rare days when the mower runs out of juice before I done.

B. Bullerman ( Dayton, OH ) We bought this mower last spring (2009) for about $400. Analyzed and studied this mower and Black & Decker cordless lawn mower. Both looked good reviews for the cutting and mulching performance.
I ultimately chose the WORX for three reasons:
1. Design/aesthetics
2. Removable/replaceable battery
3. Quick folding & adjusting handles
The mower was very easy to begin, and was fully charged. I like that you can charge battery inside or outside of the mower. The WORX is very well designed and seems solidly built, and put all the characteristics of reflective design on the lawn mower, in particular the rapid folding handles and adjust. The only advantage that the B & D seemed to have had that could be stored vertically, however, when measured bulk storage, ultimately, there was not much difference.
Performance has been very good, beautiful, clean and even cut no problem with high or even slightly damp grass. We have a small garden, but when you mowed the battery is still nearly a full charge left. We love this mower and will buy again. In fact, based on that experience, ww would consider the purchase of other tools WORX lawn care tools.
