Lawn Mower 1815-18 Description
The business end of this hand pushed reel mower is solid, sharp, and easy to use, with five heat-treated, knife-sharp tempered alloy steel blades that can be adjusted for varying grass heights from 1/2 to 2-1/4 inches. With its 10-inch wheels, radial tires, 18-inch cutting width, and 2-inch welded shrub bar, this mower should enable you to cross whatever terrain and reach whatever hard-to-access rogue patches of grass you desire. Plus, the soft foam cushion on the handlebar is a nice -- and much appreciated -- touch. However, assembly can be a headache, even though the only tool you need is a wrench. The instructions could be clearer, and the handle parts could fit together better. This product is backed by a limited 2-year warranty. [...]

I googled lawn mowers that made in USA and have a site with said that this brand and model is done in the United States. So I got it. The box clearly says "Made in China". Oh well. It is hard to find anything made in USA anymore. It mowed the grass OK, though. I'm glad to have this kind of non-motorized lawn mower.

This mower has exceeded my expectations, in addition to being eco-friendly,This lawn mower is very easy to use. (72 yr. female) I have a small area that needs to mowing. The park is alive in our lawn, if you will, but the big mowers were more harm than good. The most important thing is that you have to clean the lawn of any debris.

I bought this reel mower to see how a "current" works of reel mower. Love is the light, which makes it very easy to push around my 1/3 of an acre garden. I definitely enjoy using it instead of my rotary mower gas, but it will eventually replace it completely. As you may have read, if you're interested in reel mowers, but have not used one (except perhaps those clunkers old 50 lb) that cuts the grass "fairly well under the right conditions. Action scissors cut the grass blades rather balanced without tears , which is what my old rotary mower would do ... It does not get the results too much grass, so it is necessary to cut many times (once a week during the spring, less often, in the heat, probably) and can not leave out of hand or simply be pushing the grass and not cut. I imagine that after a rain going will be rough if the grass is bent, but I have not tried yet.
So basically, if you have a nice even lawn, and plan on cutting it every weekend, this mower will give you a great cut, and will end up being better for your grass than a rotary. If you have weeds or a patchy, bumpy lawn, or don't like to cut your grass routinely, you'll be disappointed with a reel mower... I personally haven't run into too many problems with sticks getting caught in the blades as others have reported with reel mowers. I have a fairly wooded yard, and there are plenty of twigs and sticks around, but they don't seem to get caught up all that often. Maybe because I try not to run them over much and toss them out of the way when I'm walking by... YMMV
My one complaint with this mower is the handle - its made of 5 pieces of aluminum tubing screwed together with wing nuts. They end up loosening up on me occasionally, and I'm not 100% certain that the handle will outlive the wheels or blades...

First, I was so thrilled to find everything I'd read about this machine, beforehand, proved to be true. It was easy to assemble, effortless to operate and also trouble-free at storage time. (I have no shed or garage, and therefore, must carry the mower down to my dungeon after each use.)
What I didn't find amongst the many reviews I read was how much fun, yes good old-fashioned fun, it would provide. Maybe this makes me a little odd, or maybe it's just that I haven't had a lawn long enough to have found cutting the grass, etc to be a drudgery. Whatever the reason, I truly savor being outdoors, and enjoy all things earthy. So, I welcome every opportunity the grass provides to be outdoors and to push and pull this incredible little machine.
One more thing, I think my lats and arms are looking better due the push and pull action required by this mower.

As the opinions of others, the reel mower do not cut the grass that stray beyond the right time. It is obvious just looking at the use of these mowers. I do not want to repeat what other reviewers have said, but I can say that Virtual all the disadvantages cited are true. It is good for small yards, remains free. I use it for a quick touch to keep the grass short, but sometimes when I plug electric lawnmowers for the production of a clean professional cut. The mower may have the ability to suck the debris and provide a more uniform cut, including the edges.
